truncating the tetrahedron

truncations by the vertices give the truncated tetrahedron, then the octahedron, then again the truncated tetrahedron, and the complete truncation again the tetrahedron a truncation by the edges gives a chamfered tetrahedron with all edges equal, and the complete truncation the cube truncations by the vertices and by the edges produce only one interesting polyhedron, the cuboctahedron
(the complete truncation gives again the tetrahedron)
